International Farakka Committee, New York Inc. is an environmental organization which has been working as an international water rights watch group, with particular emphasis to Bangladesh.
To advocate for equitable and sustainable water-sharing practices among nations sharing transboundary rivers, especially between India and Bangladesh. We aim to promote environmental justice, protect river ecosystems, and raise global awareness through research, diplomacy, and grassroots mobilization, ensuring a fair future for communities affected by water mismanagement.
To resolve the water and environmental challenges of all international rivers, first through regional cooperation guided by international conventions, and, if necessary, through the intervention of the United Nations.
